Timberlore is a woodwork studio started by Nikita and Yashowardhan. We share a fascination with design and woodwork, and we started Timberlore to make wooden pieces that are well designed, well made, and meant to be used every day.
What we make
We make handcrafted premium wood decor for the home: tea light holders, coasters, trinket trays, incense holders, tissue boxes and serving boards. We work in premium solid woods, including mango, teak, acacia and pine, and use fresh and repurposed timber wherever we can.
How it's made
We work with woodworkers in and around Jodhpur, Rajasthan, a city known for its wood craft. Round pieces such as tea light holders and incense stands are shaped on the lathe by local wood-turners, while trays and coasters are cut and finished in small workshops. We keep our batches small so we can check every piece.
Every piece is a little different
Wood is a natural material. Grain, tone and small knots vary from piece to piece, so the one you receive will be slightly different from the one in our photos, and from anyone else's.
Trade and bespoke orders
We work with architects, interior stylists, hospitality projects and businesses on custom finishes, sizes and bulk orders, including corporate and festive gifting. Write to us through our contact page and we'll get back to you.
